Julie Ann Pasquinelli

I’m delighted to be the First Grade teacher at Friends School! This community holds such a special place in my heart, and I’m so grateful to continue growing, learning, and creating alongside our joyful young learners. First grade is a magical year, full of wonder, discovery, and curiosity, and I can’t wait to share in the adventures ahead.

Before teaching, I earned my B.A. in English and Theater from the University of Rochester and spent several years acting in New York City, where I attended a two-year dramatic theater conservatory. I later worked as a Creative Director for beloved literary brands such as The World of Eric Carle, Olivia, and Mr. Men and Little Miss. I completed the Friends Teacher Preparation Program in 2025 and am currently pursuing a master’s degree in Learning, Development, and Family Science.

Originally from the East Coast, my family and I moved to Colorado seven years ago and quickly made it home. Outside of school, I love spending time with my husband and three children, traveling, swimming, hiking with our rambunctious dog, painting, writing, and enjoying all things theater.
