8th Grade’s Magical Retreat
What a fun, chaotic, hot, happy, amazing, crazy (but in a good way) first day of our Eighth-Grade Retreat (adjectives generated by eighth graders). Knowing we couldn’t check into the Retreat House until 3:00 p.m., the teachers decided to take the students to Lyons for a long hike and a cold plunge.
Joining Forces
Today, we announced that, after more than a year of discussion and exploration, the boards of Watershed School and Friends School voted to join forces.
Immersion Week
In two weeks, Friends School’s 5th-8th grade students will participate in our Immersion Program, a week-long, immersive, interdisciplinary, and experiential program where students will engage in a variety of educational experiences outside of the traditional classroom setting.
(Not So) Random Acts of Kindness
Random Acts of Kindness Week took place early in February. Friends School teachers engaged our lower school students in several activities that call attention to how we show kindness.
Winter’s Opportunity
