Cara Eandi

I started my education as a kindergarten student at Friends School during the first years of the program! Since then, I have earned a M.A. in International Training and Development from American University and a B.A. in Anthropology/Sociology from Lewis & Clark College. My professional experiences include Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) in Mongolia as a Peace Corps Volunteer, working for Peace Corps for over a decade in Ethiopia and Washington DC, and, most recently,providing in-person and online training to the U.S. Embassy staff across the Africa region, while living in Rwanda. I have traveled to over 30 countries in Sub Saharan Africa, Asia, and Central and South American regions. I enjoy hiking – including summiting Kilimanjaro and completing the Tour de Mont Blanc – and exploring the outdoors, knitting, and enjoying global cuisines. After completion of the Teacher Preparation Program, I will relocate to Armenia in summer 2027. 

In my spare time, I enjoy the local Boulder trails, frequent the public library, and am making my way through all the recipes on the New York Times Cooking app.
