Lisa Warshafsky

I have been living in Colorado since 1986 when I started at CU Boulder.
After graduating with a degree in Art History, I went on to pursue a career in the financial industry. When our children were 3 and 5 I got the chance of a lifetime to be a stay at home mom. I made a promise to myself to become a part of their education. I spent the next 11 years volunteering at their independent school in Denver including 10 years on the board and various teaching positions. I believe early childhood education is the foundation for a lifetime of success and joy. My latest career is the most rewarding, teaching at Friends School.
I spend my free time hiking, doing yoga and playing tennis, reading and spending time with my husband and 2 grown children – who live in Aspen.
