Being in a learning space with a room full of children where every day is dynamic, full of connections, and little moments of magic has inspired me every day in the last 15 years I’ve worked as an elementary teacher.

I did my undergraduate degrees at CU Boulder in elementary education and fine art and I did my masters of education degree through Lesley University in curriculum and instruction through arts integration.

When I am not teaching, I love spending time with my husband Cal and our daughter Ceyla, volunteering on Boulder County’s search and rescue team (Rocky Mountain Rescue), creating art, authoring children’s books, writing poetry, traveling the world, and spending as much time as possible outdoors hiking, exploring, camping, and backpacking.

My mission as a teacher is to inspire kids to make the world a better and kinder place.

You can learn more about me on my teaching portfolio website.
