I earned my B.A. in Women & Gender Studies from the College of Charleston in Charleston, SC, where I balanced my time between working as a Teaching Assistant with my other job on a Folly Beach food truck. From there, I pursued my TEFL certificate in Italy. An opportunity for an internship at a nonprofit prompted me to move to Colorado nearly ten years ago, and I haven’t looked back! After several years in the Boulder restaurant industry, I eventually made my way back to working in the educational sphere.
With my husband and dog, Pogo, I love to explore national parks in both the U.S. and abroad. While at home in Boulder, I love baking with my sister, skiing, hiking and camping around Colorado, cooking huge meals with my family, and listening to the Grateful Dead.
