I am a dedicated and lifelong learner with a deep passion for education. Teaching has always been my calling, and I’ve spent my life immersed in classrooms across the globe, exploring diverse educational practices. Growing up in Boulder, I was uniquely connected to Friends School, which actually began in my childhood home.
I earned my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Knox College in Illinois, where I also had the opportunity to study Child Development abroad in Denmark. After graduating, I pursued my love for travel by spending three years as an Au Pair in Switzerland, Spain, and Australia. The families I lived with during this time became like my own, enriching my life in profound ways.
I look forward to joining the TPP at Friends to get hands-on experience in the classroom and further my knowledge on education practices. I am also super excited to be placed in the Kindergarten class this year and can’t wait to meet my new students. I hope to bring my playful energy, passion for the outdoors and global experience to the classroom to inspire my students to think big, love nature and explore the world.
