Friends Fund
Your donation to the Friends Fund provides an immediate and meaningful impact to the experience of all students.
Support for Friends Fund comes from current families, alumni, grandparents, parents of alumni, faculty, and friends.
Each year the Friends Fund runs from July 1- June 30. Join our effort this year to ensure that Friends School’s extraordinary faculty, staff and students have all the tools they need to explore, innovate and learn.
Day of Giving
Each Fall, Friends Day of Giving celebrates the heart of Friends — the people, programs, and experiences that make this school so special. Your gift will help make those moments possible for every student, now and in the future.
If you choose to give $500 or more, there’s an added benefit: you’ll qualify for the Colorado Child Care Contribution Credit, which returns 50% of your gift back to you in the form of a state tax credit. The illustration below shows how the credit works.
CO Gives Day
Please join us in celebrating the Friends Fund on Colorado Gives Day, a statewide celebration of generosity and the causes that matter most. Your gift on this day strengthens every part of the Friends School experience…teachers, programs, and joyful learning environments that make Friends so special. Your gift on this special day has meaningful impact by:
- supporting our exceptional teachers and small-class learning.
- strengthening core programs in the arts, literacy, science, and social-emotional learning.
- enhancing the daily experience our students enjoy every day.
A meaningful bonus:

Polly T. Donald Enrichment Fund
Established as a tribute to former head of school, Polly Donald, this fund provides a unique opportunity for faculty and staff to revitalize and grow outside of the classroom, honoring Polly’s belief that an individual’s personal growth inevitably enriches those with whom they comes into contact.
Friends For Life Endowment Fund
Designed to preserve our mission while encouraging progressive thinking and creativity. This endowment enables our school leaders to focus on the future, on supporting an outstanding faculty, and on strengthening our programs.
Friends remains committed to the Founders’ vision of continually seeking innovation, and challenging the ordinary. All dollars raised remain intact in perpetuity and are carefully invested to earn income that is used to support the school and endow excellence for the future head, hand and heart of the school.
