We use a continuous enrollment model. This simplifies the re-enrollment process for families and means that you will only need to complete the enrollment process once for the entire time your child attends Friends School.
Your child will be automatically re-enrolled each year, unless you notify the school during the annual continuous enrollment window in January each year.
More Fall dates coming soon!!
Created to provide scholarships and further Friends School’s goal for greater diversity, equity and inclusion in our community.
We offer a limited number of scholarships. Eligibility is based on a comprehensive review of admission materials, at the time of application, including your PAT application.
Native, African American, Latinx and Asian students are particularly encouraged to apply, however a particular race or ethnicity is not required to be eligible for the award.
Please complete the Friends School application process and indicate you are interested in applying for the Founders Fund Scholarship as part of your PAT application.

We believe in every child having the opportunity to access the individualized and comprehensive education offered at Friends School. Our Personalized Affordable Tuition (PAT) plan is designed for families in a range of socioeconomic situations and ensures that tuition is affordable for each family.
Friends utilizes FAST, a third-party tool, to process applications, verify documentation and make recommendations for PAT based on school policies and documented family need.
Friends School’s community board establishes a PAT budget as a percentage of gross tuition. The PAT budget is limited, set annually by the community board and is determined based on a percentage of gross tuition revenue.
Friends School does not participate in Universal PK.
Our Community Board determines Tuition each December and published it to families early January.
A nonrefundable deposit is paid at the time an initial enrollment contract is signed and in January each year of continuous enrollment.
Friends School participates in the Dewar Tuition Refund Plan; tuition insurance is utilized by over 1,000 independent schools nationwide and is a way of protecting the school and our community.
NOTE: Cost for AfterCare, Enrichment classes and lunch are not included in tuition.
